Polish Folk Essence
The trend for ethnofolk is gaining popularity worldwide and is enthusiastically received by audiences. Interesting ethnic motifs continually inspire designers with their rich colours and patterns. In response to consumer tastes and expectations, contemporary design art is constantly striving to discover new qualities, creatively adapting folk motifs.
"Polish Folk Essence" serves as a bridge between the past and the future, emphasizing that Polish folk art, as one of the foundations of national culture, is not only alive and dynamic but also continuously evolving while remaining true to its roots.
The aim of the project is the active promotion of Polish folk heritage and local creators abroad, allowing the world to discover this unique aspect of our national identity. It aligns with Poland's image as a modern and innovative country, based on rich tradition and culture. This is significant in the age of globalisation, and the use of folk art elements in utilitarian design undoubtedly distinguishes and strengthens national identity while becoming an attractive and original product in the export market.
